Age differences

An older man and his younger partner: Relations between a younger woman and her considerably older partner aren't a rareness. However, the considerably older woman and her younger partner find less acceptance. Age in moderation dissimilar pairs be frequently confronted with prejudices in public, the bigger the age difference the more difficulties be expected in the relation. As a rule, while older men still are pushing envy or else on admiration in public, too, a pair in which the woman is older is accepted not so well. In the relation both partners feel very comfortable, the environment, however, possibly cannot accept this relation. The pair is often smiled at, teased, friendships are discontinued. Sometimes this can be very charging for the relation. The family of one's own often doesn't accept the relation.

A relation is anyway already complicated enough, the too big age difference can be an additional "stress factor". The two ones involved try often to suppress their own feelings at the beginning of the relation and "to tackle" the thing with reason. Which partner is individually different and in which age one/m matches. Everybody finally must decide in favor of himself. Some cannot be thinking of leading a relation with a one of the same age since the partner still would be too unripe in their opinion.

There are partnership problems in most relations. Relations also of the same age don't automatically work faultlessly. Therefore the causes don't have to be looked in the distance of the age of the partners absolutely. If the relation goes out over sexual interests, both partners can profit from each other just like in the relations of the same age. If a relation in which age difference more greatly was between the partners comes to an end, however, the fault cause of the outside is often stated: „The relation was ended anyway because of the too big age difference.“ Also problems which gives up in the partnership and problems come in all respects, the age differences are explained by the environment. The family planning can problematically be if the older man has already completed his family planning and his younger partner still would like to have children. Or the older woman have no more babies just can and her younger partner would like to become a father. Even if the pair has common children they can arise due to their age difference a different opinion in the context of the education.

In a relation a pretext frequently heard is against to a great age difference, the fear of being left because of a younger one. But the fear of being left also can be existing in other relations. The "predisposition" has to be unfaithful, it then isn't due to the age of its partner mostly if somebody. One cannot be left only because of a Younger but because of an older one. The older partners actually suffer so much sometimes from the idea to be left by his younger partner that they don't cope with this burden and prefer to end alone the relation "early". If the older one treats his partner as adult people with equal rights, a relation can work happily and harmonically despite the great age difference.
