Dr. Hay diet

The diet called Dr. Howard Hay after the American physician is a so-called separating diet. It thinks otherwise these kick an overproduction the human body leavens open that egg-white and carbohydrate rich foods only separate may be consumed by each other. By overproduction of the acid the stomach is not able to digest carbohydrates and proteins together and to form acids and bases simultaneously any more. The surplus energy remains in the body and gets mature in the form of fat. It has divided the foods up into 3 groups: Proteins, carbohydrates and neutral foods.

It understands yolk, salad, vegetables, by neutral food products for example, coffee, tea, fats and raw meat or fish. You may be eaten for all meals. However, it isn't easy to adhere to this rule since some foods contain both carbohydrates and proteins. Such nutrients are for example the legumes.

Between the meals one should adhere to 3-4 hour pause. In the long run much fruit and vegetables is healthily, there this diet but few cholesterol and fats are consumed. The nutrition is switched over but is here not the slightest talk on sports and physical motion.

This theory is out-dated to the stand of today's scientific knowledge. The stomach intestine tract is able well to digest carbohydrates and proteins simultaneously. The biological valency of egg-white is increased from this combination. Alone the mother's milk contains both active substances. The take-off doesn't take place due to the separating diet but by the calorie-reduced ones mixing diet.
